PSFS has sponsored the Philip K. Dick Award for Best Original SF Paperback since 1982. The winner is chosen from five finalists, and the award is announced every year at Norwescon. Winners have included William Gibson, Tim Powers, Carol Emshwiller, Richard Paul Russo, Rudy Rucker, Meg Elison, Ramez Naam, Carrie Vaughn, Sarah Pinsker, Kali Wallace, and Bethany Jacobs.
